What's new in the Microsoft Fabric Periodic Table
Status upgraded from Preview to GA. Over 50,000 databases created. Added SQL Auditing, Customer-Managed Keys, Data Virtualization, mssql-python driver, and enhanced Copilot tools.
PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server 2016-2025 Mirroring now GA. Added SAP via Datasphere (Preview) and Snowflake Iceberg Tables support.
Consolidated all mirroring sources into one comprehensive item. Now includes Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL MI, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery, and Databricks with source-specific documentation and CLI/API examples.
